Every project moves through four phases:
Discovery-where the vision and scope are determined
Design -where concepts, drawings and material seslections are developed and refine. The budget is clearly defined in this stage.
Procurement- where furnishings, fixtures, and finishes are sourced and ordered.
Delivery - where everything is received, inspected, and installed.
*Each phase builds on the one before it, so nothing moves forward until it’s right.

Each projects is led remotely through structured and consistent video walk thru’s detailed drawings, and a clear digital process for reviewing selections and approvals. Weekly zoom meetings with architect, contractor and client occur. In person site visits are recommended bi-monthly in the early stages and monthly in the later stages of a project. We work on a hybrid fee structure. Discovery and design are billed as a flat fee, which is mentioned in the design proposal. Procurement and delivery are billed at an hourly rate of $325, plus a 30% markup on furnishings, accessories and fixtures. This structure allows you to know your design investment upfront.

Clients are sophisticated, well-traveled and often managing more than one property at once. Most are hiring a designer for their home specifically because they dont’t have the bandwidth to oversee a project themselves and want a point of contact who can be trusted with both the aesthetic and the logistics.

There are many elements that determine a length of a project, especially if it involves any type of construction. The size of the project, the difficulty of the site and availability of contractors and subcontractors always vary and play an integral part in making up the length of time a project takes. Once the scope is determined and initial parties meet we create a timeline for all involved.

The first step is to set up a 30 minute, complimentary discovery call where we talk through your property, the timeline and what you are hoping to create.
